POWERS, RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF MEMBERS:

Voting right - except for student members

Members shall comply with Rules, Regulations and Bylaws framed and adopted by the Association, from time to time.

Failure to pay the Annual Membership Fee within thirty (30) days of the due date will lead to the cessation of membership.

The Governing Body has powers to grant readmission, on application made by the member.

Resignation through electronic form is possible. Membership fee shall not be refunded in any case.

FEES AND SUBSCRIPTION

Members on rolls of the Association shall pay their subscription to the Association according to scale fixed by the Association from time to time. Such subscription for the full year shall become due on 31st March every year for existing members.​

 

THE FEE STRUCTURE

The fee structure for members are as follows. The fee can be revised by the Governing Body from time to time.

DISQUALIFICATION OF MEMBERS

(i) he/she has been found to be of an unsound mind by a Court of competent
jurisdiction and the finding is in force; or


(ii) he/she has applied to be adjudicated as an insolvent and the application is
pending; or

(iii) he/she has been convicted by a Court of any offence involving moral
turpitude and sentenced in respect thereof to imprisonment for not less
than six (6) months, and a period of five (5) years has not elapsed from
the date of expiry of such sentence.


(iv) A member will also be debarred from Membership if he/she institutes litigations
or represents any third-party litigant against the Association.
